1. Members
of Elks Lodge # 804 in good standing and their spouses may entertain non-Elk guests within the Lodge facility, excluding the
Club Room, which is reserved for Elk members only during designated hours. The host member is responsible for the conduct
of their guests and any damage caused by their guests or themselves. The amount to be paid for any damage shall be determined
by the Trustees of Lodge # 804. When the host member leaves the facility, the non-Elk guest must also leave.
2.
The dining room may be used by members’ spouses
and their guests for lunch and dinner. Guests or minors (under
21 years of age) may not remain in the facility after the scheduled dining room hours without the Host member being present
with them.
3.
Any Lodge # 804 member whose dues are more than 30
days past due shall forfeit their right to use
the facility, including being a guest of a current member. A member not in good standing shall surrender their membership
and key card to any Officer, House Committee member or Club Manager upon request.
4.
While we welcome visiting Brothers from other Lodges, our facility is designed and maintained for our members. Therefore, visiting Elks whose primary residence is within the
Poudre R-1 School District shall be governed by the following rule: If they use our facility in excess of ten (10) times during
a six (6) month period, they must either transfer their membership to our Lodge or receive an Associate Membership in our
Lodge in order to continue using our facility. The House Committee will make the final decision on any interpretation of this
rule.
5.
All of the facility, except the Lodge room, shall
be closed all of the times Lodge is in session. The House
Committee must approve any exception to this rule.
6.
Minimum operating hours for the facility shall be
determined by the House Committee. The Club Manager
may approve exceptions to the minimum after consulting with the House Committee. The Club Manager, subject to review by the
House Committee, may approve special parties or other functions in the facility, i.e. “Prom Night”.
7.
The check cashing policy established by the House
Committee shall be visibly posted in the facility and strictly enforced by all employees. No credit shall be extended to any
member or guest.
8.
A violation of House Rules is “CONDUCT UNBECOMING
AN ELK “ upon which charges may be predicated against the offending member.
9.
The use of vile, obscene and / or insulting language
is an offense against the laws of the order and a violation of house rules. These
House Rules are in compliance with the statutes of our order –chapter XVI, Sec. 16.040.
